At Sheldez Hair Trendz, barbering and hair styling are more than just services — they are the heartbeat of our story.

It all started in the early 90s when my dad used to buy Wahl clippers and give us classic chiskops at home. I used to cry like no one's business back then, but those moments planted the seed of passion within me. When my dad went to work, I would secretly grab his clippers and practice on my friends. That's when I discovered this gift — a natural talent I never had to be taught.

Over time, I became the go-to barber for my friends, especially at school gatherings. After matric, I took a gap year to figure out whether to pursue varsity or follow my talent.

By then, I was already gaining recognition as a skilled barber, so I chose to study Hair Care at Tvet College (formerly Odi Manpower) in Pretoria. I passed all six modules with flying colours, taking my craft to a professional level.

Starting from humble beginnings, I saved money and built a small shack salon at my parents' home. Through commitment, consistency, and respect for every client, I grew my business and eventually built a permanent salon structure right at home.
